Questions to Ask the Baker

Make sure your Wedding Cake is perfect! When meeting the baker of your wedding cake, here’s what to ask:

If requested, can each layer be a different flavor?
Is there a delivery and/or set-up fee?
What themed or shaped cakes has the baker made related to weddings?
Will the cake be made from scratch or from a mix? Do they use sugar or crème frosting?
What policies do they have in place if something happens to your cake before the reception? This can be due to an accident during set-up, or afterwards by one of your guests. Will they be able to help you by bringing another cake suitable for a wedding?
What makes them different from other bakeries?
