Guest books are generally not very expensive. BUT they can run upwards of $80 and more. Don’t pay that much. You are going to have people sign it as they enter the ceremony or the reception hall or both. Here are a couple of quick ways to save money and time:

Use a long scroll of parchment paper:

Allow your guests to sign it, at both locations if you prefer. They can also write a little note to the bride and groom on it as well. Later, you can have this framed or just roll it up and place it with your other wedding mementos.

Create an artwork scrapbook:

Supply each table at the reception with paper and colored pencils and have your emcee ask the guests to create art using the items on the table. Afterwards make sure someone picks them all up. Use a 3-hole punch and place them into a binder.
