Exchanging Vows

Halloween Wedding Stage
Halloween Wedding Stage Decorated with Jack-O-Lanterns and Halloween lights

Jess and Matt exchanged vows on a superbly decorated stage lit with Jack-O-Lanterns and a wedding arch covered with Halloween lights. The yellow-orange lights cast a lovely, mysterious glow on the couple and made the Halloween decorations look even more pretty.

The ceremony was conducted by the couple’s friend Ryan, who was dressed as a zombie priest, complete with an inverted cross!

Halloween Wedding Jack-O-Lantern Unity Candle

The highlight of the wedding decorations wad the unity candle! The creative couple merged the traditional unity candle with the Halloween classic – Jack-O-Lantern by placing the orange candle inside a carved pumpkin.

The Halloween Bride

Halloween Bride's Dress Makeup

The Bride chose to fore-go the white and opt for the truly Halloween color – Black. Jess looked ravishing in this strapless black wedding gown that showed off her tattoos beautifully. Enhancing her look was a black birdcage veil, black ear studs and pink dyed hair.

The dark Gothic look showed through beautifully in her makeup with dark red lips and prominent eye makeup.

Halloween Wedding Bridal Bouquet

The bride’s bouquet was a bunch of beautiful, dark red roses that added the contrast of Red to the Black colors elsewhere making this a perfectly Gothic Red and Black wedding color scheme. The red roses rested on a black lace collar.

The Halloween Groom

…and a Cake Topper that Matches!

What came first – the cake topper or the dress? Keep guessing! The cake topper was an exact match of the couple’s wedding day look down to the pink head and the red roses of the bridal bouquet.

And here’s the gorgeous cake with chocolate dripping on each layer.
