Katie's Armani Wedding Gown Photo and Details
Katie Holmes chose an Armani Wedding Dress for her big fairy tale at
the Odescalchi Castle in Lake Bracciano, Italy to actor Tom Cruise.
According to acclaimed designer Giorgio Armani, who is a good friend
of the couple, "Katie wanted a simple, elegant dress that was rich
in material with a slim silhouette", reports People.com.
Armani designed an off-the-shoulder gown with an ivory silk train
adorned in Valenciennes lace and Swarovski beaded crystal
embroidery. The celebrity bride adorned her dress with an ivory
tulle floor-length veil and ivory silk shoes.
The bride carried a bouquet of calla lilies for the ceremony and
wore a champagne color evening gown for the reception that followed.
The Groom, Tom Cruise, wore a navy blue tuxedo from the Giorgio
Armani Hand Made to Measure collection. The jacket label read,
"Giorgio Armani for Tom Cruise."
Their 7 month old daughter Suri wore a dress designed in layers of
organza which was inspired by her mother's wedding gown.
