Wedding Reception Location Ideas

When it comes to wedding reception location is an important thing. Places like banquet halls, catering halls, mansions, country clubs, schools, lofts, gardens, restaurants, and private places come to mind. But now day’s sky is the limit, and some adventurous couples actually take vows while aloft in hot-air balloon.

Most ceremonies are still religious affairs, so couples typically begin at the church. The reception site must be within an easy drive. Make sure there are extra copies of driving directions at the ceremony for the guests who incase have forgotten to bring it.
But if you are planning a black tie posh affair, a garden wedding is just perfect for a gathering of hundreds of people.

Private Homes And Gardens
There’s always a special warmth and love to a home wedding. The event can be a small formal, catered affair or an informal ceremony. If you want a small reception just for close friends and family home would be a good option. For that couples opt to move there wedding outdoor, with the help of a rented tent. Make sure there are enough parking spaces for all the guests.

Private Clubs
Private clubs is a lovely option, but many may not allow non-members. If your friend or family member is a member ask them for help. Most private clubs have exquisite banquet rooms and many are suited at the edge of a golf course. They offer amenities same as the hotels, and their atmosphere is abit more private.

Hotels
A hotel can be glorious setting for a formal reception. In terms of styles hotels have many advantages. The staff is experienced for staging large events, and equipment is usually available every day, from dance floor to chairs and tables. Also you could have both the wedding and reception in one hotel. If you have guests coming from far you could also accommodate them in the same hotel.

Beaches, Mountains And Parks
If you want something different from the conventional reception location go for a beach or a mountain. The setting adds a touch of adventure to the celebration. It works out perfect after having a traditional wedding at the church and then having a reception at nearby beach or a park. It will be something different and fun.

Wineries
Many wineries are lovely old buildings located between wine–covered hills. Opting for such a reception would be a beautiful and unique setting. The best seasons to have a winery reception would be spring and fall season.

Ships And Boats
A romantic reception between water would a good option. But such a setting is gaining favor in areas where there is a lake, river or the ocean. Riverboats cruise ships and chartered yachts make a fancy, unforgettable reception site.

Historical Or Public Sites
An elegant mansion, a breathtaking mountain lodge, formal gardens will also make beautiful settings for reception.
