Reception is the ultimate party that is equally important as the wedding. Where all friends and family get together to celebrate the occasion. Creating a beautiful setting for the reception by decorating the space with elegant floral arrangements, exquisite table settings and twinkling lights all over. The reception could take place in beautiful hall of the church, a garden covered with white silk tents, or vineyard with a breathtaking view.

After the doorway the next important thing is the decoration of the tables. This is where the guests will spend time. It is important to pay close attention to linens and place settings. Also make sure the names of all the guests are written on the individual seats so that no one is left out and there is no last minute confusion regarding seating arrangement.

Tablecloth and napkin colors reflect your style. So long tablecloth are any day more elegant and romantic than shorter ones. You could choose from a wide range of colors be it bold or subtle its up to you. If you are sacred to experiment then the traditional white which look’s elegant with a touch of light pink, is the safest. Also make sure to choose the right fabric, which could be silk, satin or net.

Centerpiece

Flowers always make the most beautiful centerpiece, as they fragrant and eye-catching. Floral colors can coincide with the color of the linens. Candles also look nice and elegant whether they are small votives or lanterns. They somehow tend to create a festive mood.

Crockery

The sliver-plated dishes look the most elegant and traditional. Nowdays a variety is available depending on the amount you are ready to spend. Dishes with floral motives also look beautiful.

Cake Table

On the reception the wedding cake is a huge focus. Decorate the table on which the cake is kept with flowers and lights around the table, which could make the cake, look even grander. See that the knife is also decorated with ribbons.

Balloons

Balloons make a wonderful celebratory adding a touch of elegance and festivity to the reception room. The colors should gold, silver or pearl in addition too many other complimenting colors.

A wedding reception which is based on basic theme such as color motif or as complex as a time period reenactment, adds consistency and direction to the wedding decorations. This could add and extra fun to the occasion.
