Edible Wedding Favors Ideas
Here are a few ideas for wedding favors that are edible and will be
savored by your guests!
1. Candy spoons
If have a limited budget make your own wedding favor by taking 2
chocolate pieces and out them on a nice plastic spoon. Wrap the
spoon in sliver organza and put small tags on them.
2. Personalized candy bars
Take candy bars of any company and wrap them in nice ribbons or net.
Add dry flower over for decorations.
3. Chocolates
Get 2" clear boxes. Then fill them with Hershey kisses chocolates
and tie the box with black ribbon. Their place card will be
attached.
4. Cookie wedding favors
Get cookies add frosting on them and surround them with sprinkles.
Cookie should be gift wrapped in a cello bag, and tied with a satin
trimmed white organza ribbon.
5. Chocolate Champagne Flutes
Order chocolate champagne flutes as wedding favors. Each
piece should be foil-wrapped with milk chocolate and arrives wrapped
in a clear cellophane bag tied with gold ribbon.
6. Chocolate Lollipops
Chocolate lollipops in the shape of wedding cakes, bells and
hearts, tied with the ribbon of the same color as the brides maids
dresses with our names and the wedding date written in gold on the
ribbon.
7. Cake Baskets
Get customized cake baskets, which is shaped as an inverted
lady's hat! Looks pretty English and old style. And I have ribbons
and cute flowers in it. At the bottom of the basket I have some
white tulle lace attached and inside the lace you will find some
fruit cake with icing on it.
8. Fortune Cookies
Personalized fortune cookies and wrapped them in colored tissue
and put them in Chinese take-out boxes wrapped with satin ribbon.
9. Homemade Heart Favors
Make home made favors by taking 2 flat wooden hearts and spray
paint them the color you like. Then glue the ribbons on the back
making a loop at the top and crossing the ribbon on the back. Then
on the front glue a small teddy bear (brown plastic bear) facing a
chocolate kiss. All materials can be bought from a craft supply
store
10. Ring Pops
Take ring pops. They are suckers shaped like rings and wrapped
in pretty iridescent paper and tied with a bow.
11. Frosted Cookies
Get star shaped cookies with white frosting on it. Then add sprinkles or
use icing to write names or monograms on top of the frosted sugar cookie.
12. Flower Shaped Chocolates
For a Spring or Outdoor wedding, do flower shaped chocolates with
colored centers. For e.g. sunflower shaped white chocolate with a
yellow coloring and milk chocolate center.
13. Candies
Use heart shaped candy mold box and some small wedding candy
molds in the shape of glasses, bride and groom and fans etc. to put
in the box after it was molded. You will find the molds and the
candy’s in the bulk food section at any local grocery store.
