A Florida Destination Wedding
A destination wedding is defined as one you and your guests must
travel to. Many popular destinations for these types of weddings are
Las Vegas,
Hawaii, and Florida.
If you want to have a destination wedding in Florida, here are some
tips to make it great!
Packing: When packing for a destination wedding, you'll need
several things. Along with your wedding dress, of course, bring a
swimsuit and some casual clothes. Don't forget sunscreen! A camera
or camcorder is also a must to capture all your Florida memories!
Guests: Guests are optional at a destination wedding. You're
likely to have a lot less guests than you would at a non-destination
wedding because often, many people cannot afford the airfare and
accommodations.
Activities: Fun is the keyword for a Florida destination
wedding! Visit Disney's theme park for excitement and fun. Many
people even choose Disneyland for the site of their wedding. Or, go
to the Keys for snorkeling and sunbathing. You can even take a
romantic sunset cruise or ride horses along the beach!
Airfare and Accommodations: Check the Internet for great
deals on airfare to Florida and accommodations. You can choose from
a luxurious hotel chain to a quaint bed and breakfast. If you're not
up to planning the trip on your own, visit a travel agent who can
plan your trip for you.
Upon returning from your Florida destination wedding, it's your
choice whether or not you want to hold a reception for friends and
family that couldn't make it. In most cases, it's a good idea and
can be a lot of fun. Keep it casual and show your friends and family
all your pictures you took while in Florida.
A destination wedding to Florida can be a memorable way to tie the
knot. Sun, surf, fine dining, and lots of fun combine for a romantic
getaway that you'll never forget!
